Hi everyone,

  What are your favorite foundations?

Which foundations do you hate and why?

Thanks for your help!

I like the Chanel vitalumiere and Teinte Fluide Universal for smooth even liquid coverage.

On days when I'm a little oilier and need a matte light foundation, L'oreal has a new mineral makeup which covers well and lasts a very long time for me.

Amazingly enough the Neutrogena foundation does not work for me.  The ingredient which is supposed to help prevent break outs actually dries me out too much and I get flaky patches.  It's the only foundation I've ever had issues with.

It may not be on their website still, but Walmart had it early, and now most drugstores. Naturale??? I think it may be called that, but not at home right now to look.

Hi Guys!  The new L'Oreal powdered mineral foundation is called Bare Naturale.  It does work good for oily skin.  It has good coverage, is matte and has good staying power.  However, it has allot of ingrediant and is not as "pure" as most of the other mineral makeups

I love mineral makeup and use it exclusively. I buy it online and two that I really love (I have tried dozens) are Aromaleigh and Pure Luxe. Physicians Formula also has a new mineral makeup line out that I like.

I use the Jane Iredale loose minerals (warm sienna)  because it has a very light and natural look but also lots of coverage and can be actually soothing to irritate skin.  They have so many colors from warm to cool to global.  Nike blushes too.

I wear the foundation loose minerals alone, I almost don't need anything else, it makes your skin look almost flawless.

I am also a big fan of mineral make up.  I started using the bare minerals line 2 years ago and love it.  It feels very light as if I'm not even wearing any.  My skin tends to look red and the bare minerals does a great job of evening out my skin tone.  I tried the Neutrogena mineral make up when it came ou but I don't like the brush applicator.  It tends to concentrate all the makeup in the middle of the brush so it doesn't go on evenly.

The ONLY foundation that stays on my oily skin is Doublewear Liquid Foundation from Estee Lauder.  It wears like iron.

Everything else breaks up and comes off when I blot.

Not a big fan of mineral makeup because a lot of them contain Bismuth Oxychloride which makes me itch.  yuck.

I like Elizabeth Arden's Intervene foundation for my 50 year old skin.  It goes on smoothly, covers well, is light weight, and lasts all day.  It is suppose to have anti-aging ingredients, but I'm not sure how well they work.  It does have an SPF 15 sunscreen, but so does my day moisturizer I use under it.
