I am thrilled to have you join my skin care revolution. This site, www.skintypesolutions.com, is an unbiased resource of educational materials about skin care and skin care procedures. Although anyone is welcome to visit the site and talk in our forums, you will get the most out of it if you know your skin type.

How do you find out your skin type? Take the questionnaire in my book The Skin Type Solution (Bantam 2006). It will help you determine if your skin is dry or oily, sensitive, pigmented or wrinkled and then you will be able to make better decisions about what skin care products to buy.

Once you know your skin type, you can talk to others in the forum section with the same type about your skin and other related issues. Others in the forum have taken the test as well and determined their skin type. This insures that the person giving you advice in the forum has the same skin type as you. In other words - apples are talking to apples and oranges to oranges. Do you see how it is a revolution?! There is no marketing hype, no false information, just people concerned about their skin talking honestly to others with the same skin issues.
